â€Å"Come on hurry up one by one.† said the Naval officer. As we boarded the ship I turned around to reflect everything that has happened here. This island has turned us to becoming savage beasts, and losing sense of right and wrong. This island is now burning in flames because of its occupants it has turned. I turned around and the clear blue water gave me comfort in its purity and tranquility. This island will forever be etched into my memory. I will never forget it. As we were coming back to England, the officers gave us water and food. The cool taste of the water felt good, and I finally had something to eat. It was quiet except for the sound of the engine running, it has a tedious task. I looked up and saw the expression of the other boys. There was sadness, disgust, realisation. Then my eyes laid upon Jack. He had lead the hunt that cost us our first chance of rescue. He had started a new tribe. His tribe killed Simon, and he ordered my hunt. But as I look upon him now, I see sorrow and sadness. I never would’ve imagined that Jack would ever look as glum as this. He looks up and catches me staring at him. For a minute we look into each other s eyes and I knew he was genuine when he said. â€Å" I’m sorry Ralph. I’m so sorry.† With that his eyes began to well up and he broke down. He was sitting on that bench alone. Now that everyone had come to their senses, they realized that Jack had been evil and cruel, and I th ink he realized that too.
